Information about cross country relay
Today the cross-country team relay event will be held, this is a discipline that has been on the program since 1999 with the exception of South Africa last year.

Italy are the reigning world champions from 2012, where France and Germany came in 2nd and 3rd place. In previous years, the podium has been dominated by Italy, France and Switzerland. So there will be high expectations from these teams. There will be 27 teams ready to start at 16.00, and the teams are represented by both genders. The team will consist of one junior, one U23, and two elite riders.
The three teams that finished in the top 3 in 2012 have all replaced two riders in their setup, and new exciting riders will get the chance.
The Norwegian team will be represented by: Sondre Kristiansen, Erik Nordsæter Resell, Ingrid Bøe Jacobsen and Ola Kjøren.
The track is 3,2 km long and there is a 90m difference in elevation from start to finish.
The athletes believe that this track is better than last years, and there is great expectations among riders to this years course.
