It was a close race between the two Spanish contestants Abel Mustieles and Benito Ros the whole final.
At the third section, Mustieles and Ros had both three points when Mustieles fell over an obsticle.

Ros held calm the rest of the sections and got five points in total. Mustieles got eight points.

German Raphael Pils took the third place with 24 points, only five points up to number five.

After the final, Ros laughed and said today’s competition was hard, especially because Mustieles is in a good shape these days.
– I am glad I still get to be on top, year after year, Ros said.

Ros said he came here to win, and that it was not an unexpected victory – even though it was a really tough competition this year.

When it’s hard, it’s better to win, he says.
